We have had a couple of down days due to the weather, not cold but very wet.  We did get out for a nice walk though, in between the down pours, around the immediate area of where Hilary lives in Hemel Hempstead.  I neglected to take photos though so will next time.  We also went into the town of Hemel today and did a bit of shopping mostly window shopping.  They had a mini farmer's market in the center and we bought some strawberries and zucchini squash.

We have been watching the Wimbledon Tennis Tournament going on and nearly ending in London.  Today, Saturday, was the women's final and Serena Williams won.  Tomorrow will be the men's finals.  We are also watching the Formula 1 gearing up for the race on Sunday afternoon.  We will not see either the tennis or the Formula 1 due to our going into London but Hilary is bearing up O.K. so far :) .  She is recording both so we can view later.

This afternoon Jill and Howard,  Jill is Hilary's sister and Howard is her brother-in-law, stopped by on their way home from a holiday trip to East Anglia.  They love going there and had a great time.  It was fun hearing about their time there and sharing tea and biscuits.

We are getting ready to go to London tomorrow, Sunday, by train our first step to Belgium.  We will have lunch at Carla's, Hilary's daughter's, and then stay the night in Howard and Jill's studio apartment in the Barbican, a very very nice complex in London. We will get on the train from there very early on Monday and head for Belgium.  I apologize for no photos today.  I will have many when I return from Belgium Wednesday evening.
